Parsley

Parsley is a fast-growing plant that likes cool climates. It grows particularly well in the Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean regions of Turkey, as the mild climatic conditions in these regions are favorable for the healthy growth of parsley.

Parsley cultivation begins by sowing the seeds directly into the soil. The soil should be rich in organic matter, loose and well-drained. Parsley requires regular watering and sufficient sunlight, but does not like excessive waterlogging. Also, since the plant grows quickly, it needs to be harvested frequently.

When it is time to harvest, parsley is picked with its fresh and vibrant leaves. Yields vary depending on soil conditions, irrigation methods and climatic conditions. Fresh parsley is often used in salads, dishes and side dishes and is a delicious source of nutrition.
