Arugula

Arugula is a fast-growing plant that likes cool climates. It grows particularly well in the Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean regions of Turkey, as the mild climatic conditions in these regions are favorable for the healthy growth of arugula.

Arugula cultivation begins by sowing the seeds directly into the soil. The soil should be rich in organic matter, loose and well-drained. Arugula requires regular watering and sufficient sunlight, but can be damaged by extreme heat and excess water. Also, since the arugula plant grows fast, it is advantageous to harvest it often.
